Mehra Rimer on RTS’s Drôle d’époque
An interview on RTS introduced a wider Swiss audience to Mehra Rimer’s journey, the story behind B8 of Hope, and the Palestinian and Israeli civil society movements working beyond violence and division.
In October 2025, B8 of Hope brought together approximately 20 Palestinian and Israeli activists from partner organizations who were visiting Geneva for a conference.
Away from panels and formal meetings, the dinner offered a much-needed opportunity to reconnect, share experiences, and hear about one another’s ongoing work. At a time when movement and face-to-face contact between Palestinians and Israelis have become increasingly restricted, the evening was also a moment of mutual care and solidarity—strengthening the personal relationships and sense of community that help sustain activists through these times of ongoing hardship.
