PHYSICIANS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS

Physicians for Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) was founded in 1988 by a group of Israeli physicians and works to promote a just society where the right to health is granted equally to all people in Israel, in the West Bank and in Gaza.

PHRI employs a multi-faceted approach to achieve its goals through the provision of humanitarian aid and work promoting policy change. Through open and mobile clinics, volunteer medical professionals provide services free of charge to people with limited or no access to health care–primarily migrants, refugees, and Palestinian residents of the West Bank and Gaza.
